You can delete your MAKI account and its personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, and lets you do it here if you would rather not use the app.
Your account itself, and everything personal attached to it — for good, 30 days after you confirm:
Records of payments and credit transactions are retained for accounting, tax and chargeback handling — this is a legal obligation, not a choice. After deletion those records are no longer connected to your name, email or username: what remains is that a transaction happened, not who made it.
When you confirm, your account is switched off at once: you are signed out everywhere, your profile stops appearing, and you are no longer counted as a member. Your data is then kept for 30 days, in case it was a mistake or you change your mind.
To come back, just sign in again within those 30 days. Everything returns exactly as you left it. Nobody else can bring it back for you. After 30 days the account and its data are deleted for good.
Once the 30 days have passed there is no recovery, and support cannot restore the account. If you only want to take a break from MAKI, simply signing out costs you nothing.
